Terms of trade

The following terms and conditions of sale and delivery apply to all deliveries from Carrytales.

The conditions apply in cases where no other written agreements have been concluded between you as the buyer and Carrytales.

Carrytales sells carrying equipment (slings, wraps and baby carriers) used to carry a baby or small child.

We reserve the right to sell out, printing errors, spelling mistakes, delivery changes from our suppliers, delays and circumstances beyond Carrytales' control.

Prices and payment

In the webshop www.carrytales.dk you can order goods online and pay with VISA, Mastercard, Mobile Pay and Viabill. When paying by credit card, you will only be charged when the item is dispatched.

Carrytales encrypts all your card details with the so-called SSL (Secure Socket Layer) protocol. This means that unauthorized persons cannot read your card number or other information during the transaction.

You can also choose to pay by bank transfer (see bank details under "general information"). In case of bank transfer, the order is considered completed only when the amount is transferred to Carrytales' account, this must be done within 5 days after the order is placed, otherwise the purchase will be cancelled. Please quote the order number and name when transferring.

All prices on www.carrytales.dk are inclusive of VAT.

Risk of the goods

The risk for goods purchased from Carrytales is transferred to you as the consumer at the time of delivery.

Delivery

Delivery of stock goods from Carrytales is deemed to have taken place when the consumer has received the goods. The shipment of stock goods is made by PostNord, DAO or GLS, as a postal package with or without postage at the customer's choice. Smaller consignments can also be sent by letter.

As far as possible, recycled packaging is used for shipping.

Carrytales strives to ship orders of stock items the same day.

Orders from non-EU countries:

The customer must pay VAT, customs duty (import fee) and any handling fees that are charged upon receipt.

Guidance and documentation

If there are product descriptions and user manuals for the product, these will be included with the delivery from Carrytales. If you need an English translation of the user manual, please contact us by e-mail (info@carrytales.dk). Exceptions to this are user manuals for Fidella products, where the user manual is only available in the original German language. The buyer cannot claim against Carrytales that these must be delivered in another language. Should you require further information or advice from Carrytales, this is of an indicative nature. However, if you have purchased Carrytales equipment, you can always obtain help and advice by e-mail(info@carrytales.com) or telephone (50 58 95 07).

Complaints

As a consumer, you have a 24-month right of complaint, which means that you can either have the item repaired, exchanged, your money back or a reduction in price, depending on the specific situation.

Of course, this requires that the complaint is justified. We only want happy and satisfied customers and can only encourage you to get in touch if there is a problem with an item you have purchased.

The right to complain covers manufacturing and material defects that are detected during normal use of the goods. The warranty does not cover normal wear and tear, defects and damage caused by improper handling or poor maintenance.

Any defects in the delivery from Carrytales must be claimed within a reasonable time after you have discovered the defect. If you complain within 2 months, the complaint is always considered to be timely. It is your duty to indicate and, if requested, show how the defect or deficiency appears. It is a prerequisite that you can present the purchase receipt of the product you want to complain about.

If you discover a defect, you must contact Carrytales as soon as possible, either via the contact form on www.carrytales.dk, by email(info@carrytales.com) or by telephone 50 58 95 06. We will reimburse any reasonable shipping costs you may incur in returning the item when the complaint is justified.

When you wish to make a complaint about a product, it must be sent to us at our address as mentioned above under "general information".

Please note that we do not accept packages sent by cash on delivery. Please note that you are liable for the item until we receive it - we are not liable if, for example, your parcel is left on our door and we do not notice it or it is taken by unauthorised persons.

Right of withdrawal

Goods can be returned for exchange or a refund for 30 days after receipt of the goods.

When the goods are returned and the right of withdrawal is exercised, this can only be done if the goods are returned in unused condition and in the same quantity as when you received them. You are welcome to unpack the goods and try them out just as you would in a physical shop.

The right of withdrawal lapses if you use the item in a way where it is obvious that the use reduces the sale value of the item. The goods must be returned in their original packaging.

In particular, fixed and ring slings may not be tried on. This is because they need to be washed before the threads set. However, they may of course be unwrapped so that you can see the colours and length.

If you use the right of withdrawal, you will have to pay for the return postage. The unused item will be sent or delivered to the Carrytales address as mentioned above.

When you cancel the purchase, the purchase price will be refunded to you by a transfer back to the card you purchased the item with. The money will be returned once the return has been received and we have checked that it meets the conditions for exercising the right of withdrawal.

Complaints

A complaint about a product or service purchased from us can be submitted to the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority's Center for Klageløsning, Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby. You can complain to the Center for Klageløsning via www.forbrug.dk.

The European Commission's online complaints portal can also be used to lodge a complaint. This is particularly relevant for consumers residing in another EU country. Complaints can be submitted here - http://ec.europa.eu/odr. When submitting a complaint, please provide our e-mail address info@carrytales.com.

Reservation

We reserve the right to make obvious errors in the prices of goods and freight on the webshop, as well as how the images appear on your particular computer. There may be significant colour differences depending on your monitor settings.

Your purchase from us is covered by the PriceRunner Purchase Guarantee, free of charge. This guarantees you up to $50,000 should a problem arise with your purchase. To be covered by the Purchase Guarantee, you simply need to be a registered member on PriceRunner.
