Wraptai, Mei Tai, Meh Dai - What's the difference?
Wraptai/ Mei Tai/ Meh Dai. Dear child has many names. But whatever you call the harness, the function is the same. It makes it easier to wrap your baby because the seat is made in advance.
If you want to go into detail, mei tai and meh dai cover the same concept, only separated by spelling. Mei tai comes from the Cantonese meh dai. A mei tai has the character of a wrap with modern comfort with good padding in the belt and wrap straps.
A wraptai has no padding, but the shoulder straps can be spread over the shoulders and child for better support and comfort.
This is not helped by the fact that some mei tais have the same function in the shoulder straps while being padded.
This has probably contributed to the blurring of concepts for most people.
