The Wombat Wallaby 2.0 is a practical and stylish babywearing jacket with 4 different uses. You can carry your baby in front AND on your back. You can even use it while you're pregnant - or without baby!

A lovely warm winter jacket tested down to -15 degrees. Is breathable, windproof and water resistant.

Lined with the softest imitation lamb fur, which is repeated in the collar, hood and panel insert, which can be removed as needed.

The Wombat Wallaby is designed with flexibility and functionality in mind in a beautiful package. The jacket fits you and your baby well when you carry baby in your front, outside on your front, on your back and when you run after your baby in the playground. Tandem carrrying with simultaneous front and back carrying is possible by purchasing an additional panel insert via the link at the bottom.

The large, soft collar made of imitation lamb fur can be buttoned tightly around the neck. It protects really well against the cold, so you don't have to keep track of a scarf too. The collar can be buttoned on and off as needed, as can the lined hood. Plus, the sleeves have a handy wind vent at the edge so the cold doesn't creep up your sleeve. The bottom of the jacket has adjustment straps to minimise cold air from below.

Wallaby as pregnancy jacket

The jacket is designed as a stylish maternity jacket when the panel insert is zipped at the front. It is lined with the same delicious faux lamb fur as the jacket. There is adjustment at both the top and bottom, so it can be adjusted to suit the growing front.

Wallaby as babywearing jacket

There is a discreet zip along the back, which allows you to unzip the panel insert on either the front or back. Tandem wear, to wear on front and back simultaneously, is possible by purchasing a extra panel insert.

A babywearing jacket is not a carrying device, but should be used with a baby carrier, stretchy wrap or Woven wrap, of which we have a large selection. With the babywearing jacket you give your baby closeness and warmth by sharing the jacket. At the same time you are free to also think about e.g. baby's snow suit.

Always make sure your child has free airways and is not too hot/cold. When back carrying smaller children, we recommend that the hood is unbuttoned. The collar is also unbuttoned and placed under the shoulder straps of your carrier. This warms the upper back, which is otherwise exposed to cold when back-carrying. See how in the video below.

NOTE! TheWombat Wallaby is a body-hugging model that is small in size. It can be further adjusted at the waist using internal waist straps if you want even more shape. If you are between two sizes, we therefore recommend that you take the larger size. If you prefer a looser fit, it is also a good idea to choose a size larger than usual. See the size chart below. Please note that all measurements are from seam to seam and in centimetres:

We know it can be hard to choose the right size when you also need to fit your baby. That's why we offer you an extra service. If you do get the wrong size, we'll pay the postage for exchanging the jacket for another size.
